Both games use the default animations, but they are made so that they abide by Crash's proportions, so no ugly stretching! Additionally, there is no clipping through the ground either when doing certain actions, which is usually present in mods that have custom proportions.

Being that they are both a mod of half-life games was kinda just a coincidence, but it's neat that I got him in both engines, heh.

I thought it would be fun to port all my models, plus the Crash 2 model, in some of the most well known 'modding games' on Steam. Now as for the mods, I made them because, quite simply, I just like playing as low poly Crash. Make sure you are signed into your Steam account. Crowbar will take your Player Model and upload it to your Steam workshop.

Plus Crash holding a real RPG Laucher is pretty funny.Īnyway, if you want these posters in full 4K quality, I've included both of them in the download! Move the 6 files Crowbar outputted to 'GmodPMtut\forworkshop\models\sm' In Crowbar, go to the 'Publish' tab. As for the other one, adding bumpmaps to a Sven Model was a neat experience as well. Doing things like giving Crash's low poly motorcycle proper reflections was fun too. Things like making sure every window was modeled was a chore, but well worth it in the end. First time making a custom background for a render, and first time using a background in a render in general! I am specifically proud of the Neonpolis poster, as I put hours of work into making sure if you look close at the render you can see the finest of details even far in the background.
I knew exactly what I wanted these posters to look like for a long while now, however I threw a curveball at even myself and decided to recreate the part of the maps that would be in the renders from the ground up, completely custom. Here we have the models interacting in some worlds featured in Gmod and Sven, Neonpolis (a custom map made by user Nerd Koopa that I just absolutely adore to death), and Tetris (a hellish tetris based world in Sven Co-op). I'll talk about the posters first, since that's probably what immediately catches the eye. That little bit more was some mods featuring all the models, plus 2 4k posters based on the releases! Yesterday I uploaded a bunch of classic styled Crash models for download, but I alluded to there being alittle bit more.
